LOGANSPORT PEOPLE-- INTRODUCTION
BUILDING LASTING MEMORIES
Through this series of Blogs (LOGANSPORT PEOPLE) we are attempting to create mini biographies and stories about the People of Our Town. Every town is simply a collection of people. No town is better than the people who make it a community. Logansport has produced many wonderful people. Some have made an impact on the larger world, others have made their impact on their families, children, church, and community. This Blog is dedicated to all of these.
This is the plan for the BLOG --
1. All of our readers are invited to share their memories of the wonderful people of Our Town. Many memories (with photos) have already been shared on the FaceBook Group, Remember When In Logansport. The Blog offers a longer format, and more direct and wide accessibility, and a more permanent record.
2. After an article has been written and placed on the BLOG, others can add pictures or memories to make the final product a truly collaborative effort.
3. BOOK OR CD Formats. As the collection of Biographies accumulate, we will consider creating an E-Book or CDs that will allow interested parties to have their own copies of the materials collected on the Blog.
4. LASTING RECORDS -- The ultimate goal is to make these memories, and the individuals whose lives they recount, available and part of a lasting historical record. Toward this goal, we will move to take advantage of technology, and developments in archival records.
ULTIMATELY, THIS BLOG BELONGS TO ALL THE PEOPLE OF LOGANSPORT (Present and Past). PLEASE TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO SHARE YOUR MEMORIES OF YOUR FAVORITE LOGANSPORT PEOPLE.

My mother's name was Winnie Caraway and her older brother's name was J.W. Caraway. Winnie was born around 1913-18 (no references here with me). J.W. was a bank manager in Logansport or Mansfield. My mother refused to ever say a word about how her parents died or anything about her past there. My sister and I have wondered for years and now our mother is dead and left this mystery unanswered. Can anybody enlighten us ?
