PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMORIES OF LOGANSPORT SCHOOLS -- Based on the February 2014 Exhibit at the Logansport Library
The following are taken from the memories shared during the February 2014 Exhibit at the Logansport Library. The Exhibit was built around the topics of the first three meetings of the Logansport Historical and Genealogical Society, which focused on the History of Education and the schools of Logansport, Louisiana. We are especially indebted to Julie Vidler Morris, Bobby Childress, Sonny Dowling, Charles Adams, and others for their contributions to the exhibit. We thank Angela Toney, Linda Foreman, Teri Hawsey, Joshua Wolf, Patricia Murray, Marie Cordova, and Diane Pitts (the Library Staff) for their cooperation and assistance with the exhibit.
The long-range goal is to create an archive of Photographic History of Logansport with a searchable data base, and information on each photograph. This is the beginning of such a project. I am only just learning about creation of albums and use of photos in this blog, so pardon errors
We will add information on the photographs as quickly as we are able. In the meantime, you are invited to add your comments, and information. Your contributions will make this blog worthwhile to others, so please participate.
